I tend to agree with you that its best to ignore/not feed trolls and that had basically been my attitude about this weird character and supposed property negotiator; I mean, who the hell would be so proud of being a mere property negotiator - with all the negative connotations that such brings - but there you have it!! Just got back from HK yesterday and I’m already itching for more. Best decision to sneak out in the weekend after a conference. Wanted to share some information with bros here, especially those who hunt alone.

IMHO, your best bet these days is to go on WeChat/Weixing to find free lancers in China.

You've got plenty of time to right now start to zoom in on your preferred location to chit chat with likely candidates and pave the way for your actual visit.

Gotta tell you though, that Dongguan is NOT famous for its universities! You're more likely to run into part timers/those supplementing their regular stints, WG's in between jobs and if you're lucky, genuine factory/regular job gals who wants to "broaden their horizon." And oh - of course some of these bored er nai's with nothing to do whilst their patrons are away!

Whao i always take a MPV over from Hong Kong Airport. It takes like 3-4 hours to reach Changping. I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me where this "Hung Hom Train Station" in Hong Kong is at? Is it near the airport? 50 mins?!

Hi bro, Hung Hom is a stop on the MTR. Not near the airport coz it's just a stop away from East Tsim Sha Tsui. You can check this link for the timing: http://www.chi$$$$$inguide.com/hongkong-train-travel/dongguan.html. Basically it's the train stop for all journeys between HK and Mainland.

I suppose it's more convenient if you're in Hong Kong already. Though if you actually take 3-4 hours on average by MPV, maybe can consider going to the train station from Airport and thereafter take another train to Dongguan.

I tried some banyou 伴游 websites before and manage to get some freelances in shenzhen and many other city. But it is a hit and run coz many of the picture are fake and while some are real , you got to try your luck. There are some risk and you got to be careful. those fake pic are normally from syndicate , one tell sign is there will only accompany you within the city.. If you are in DG, KTV ｉｓ　ａ　better option. I did the banyou stuff because i was looking for a travelling companion for my holiday in Yunnan.
