A group of us will be having one of our 3-times yearly trips to JKT over this cumming long weekend (unfortunately its the Korban period) and as such most of the joints would be closed (or either low profile back door entry ) so would appreciate any info of those joints thru PM that we can just simply walk in to tapao or even OKT contacts - for back-up reasons in case those regular joints we go is totally closed (e.g. Malio, Alexia, Golden Crown, Travel, Classic, Kings Cross, CJ...ETC)

due to my work, i had many opportunities to chiong in JKT (altho can't compare to the old birds here). i usually go to the clubs or pure fuckshops. Usual haunts when i am in JKT:

alexis hotel (1st and 7th flr)
fashion hotel (10th flr)
club 36 (usually at the main hall, not in the room)
emporium (but dun quite like it after the recent reno)
crown (preferred fishing ground)
stadium (old classic)
pangeran jayakarta
travel hotel (left side)
classic hotel (3rd flr)
M-star
Malioboro
delta spa (only happy ending here)

hope to try in the future:
illegals
goldenhands spa
trafik hotel (but a bit far at daan mogot)
red square

not a fan of:
CJ's (changed too much since i started chionging JKT years ago, when the NZ band was still there)
Bats
Miles
Millenium (dunno why... still prefer crown)

seems that for overnight booking, u will now need to get a room at the hotel itself. Used to be able to bring out to a hotel of your choice, but this has been restricted since reopening after lebaran

one of the gals told me this was due to one gal being booked overnight, taken to a hotel and found ten guys waiting there for her

not sure if this story is true. Anyone can verify?

anyway the booking rate is still unchanged at rp900k (at abt midnight).

You could try to go to CJs and Bats.
Western pubs you could try My bar and Topgun both are south of Jakarta.
