Got booked at golden bay hotel for convention this wkend. Location sucks!! Hope at least the room is alrite for bonking. Any1 went this hotel before?

Read Batam news that it's 3+3+3 rule again this year. So at least I'm lucky my dates dun clash.

News also mentioned Massage places allowed to be open 6pm to 12 midnight. Nightlife places 9pm to 2am.

Can't wait to defile some sexy ceweks during their holy month. Maybe buy some dates for them to make up for it.

Yep, i reflected this directly (and other unhappiness) to Ricky's superior too (the membership issues too). But too bad, this hotel is run by a very Chinese tradition, high-handed strict boss whereby not many Indonesian staffs could take the micro-managing,based on their culture.

(micro-management = boss personally check on them all the time)

The salary the staffs received were at least 20% more as compare to most other hotels in Batam.

I have met with quite a handful of ex-formosa staffs in other Batam hotels whereby they shared quite a bit with me as well,hehehe...needless to say, all of them arent happy working in their ex work place. Stressful is a common word used in our conversation.

Today, if my friends who were not newbie/s were to stay more than 2 nights in Batam, i no longer recommend them Formosa. I find them some other alternatives,hehehe....

You can easily get ST/LT for 400/800k from WeChat girls in Batam. Need to play safe and exercise due diligence. Many of the girls are runners and are very different from their photos in WeChat. You also get LB once a while.

Next time you're there, try MiChat. I was there end of last month and there weren't much choices in Wechat. Launched Michat and all the notifications start coming in. But be aware though that most were OKTs disguised as girls profile.

I wonder what price will be proposed by Marriott Batam. I think it will be a bit higher or same as current premier hotels in Batam, such as I-Hotel or Swiss.

can take cue from Radisson i guess.... considered pricey for batam standards but still the best so far. The Holiday Inn in batam is in tatters.

If Ricky explain that YOU must book online 2 days advance to get the free ride back to ferry terminal, then why did he tells me that by booking my room online (from formosa website), i AM NOT ENTITLED to the free night stay promotion? Meaning what he says dont add-up from what i see.

I totally agree with your long post, especially how well Mr. Ricky is capable to pamper his customers, but there is a detail that maybe was misunderstood.
What Mr. Ricky said "NO, you must book it online at least two days before and specify date and time for booking. If not booked onlilne, the price is 50k, as stated in this table of taxi fares." is about booking online the shuttle transfer to/from the terminal, not booking online the room.
So, in his view, I should book by email the room, as I did, but also plan exactly the time of arrival (impossible for me, as I arrive from KL by bus and I want to spend some time at Vivo City) and of departure, to book the taxi in advance on the web site.
What is the logic of this? Just that he does not want that customers take this benefit in reality, but only see the promotion posted.

PS: I guess Mr. Ricky reads this, and will be very upset with me when I will return, but not with you and others because you already changed hotel.

I do not forget Kunos, but I am in love with Sinta, while I cannot fall in love with a guy.

PS: I like a lot also the current staff girls. So sweet and caring. Too bad I cannot invite one of them out. Mr. Ricky would fire them on the spot
