Udon Thani and Nong Khai

If you are look for variety then this not a place to go. This is a countryside area. Udon Thani famous for growing rice and very near to Laos( about 1 hr or so car ride to Laos)

There is night activities there...very city also have probably try to do a search and key in Nongkhai or Udon Thani.( btw Nongkhai is around 50km away from Udon) Many Chinese living there thus lady skin is rather fair.

Guess you must have seen Tiger Airway promo to Udon Thani.

hi bro.
few years back was at the areas mentioned. udon thani is the arrival point from bkk. then drive to nongkhai for crossing into laos via freedom bridge. vientiane was still backward and the thai's go there like we go to batam or bintan. girls there not up to standard as i thought it would be and only a couple of big chain name hotels there then, novotel was the one then with the happening disco. the only distraction is to have a few girls with you and go and have riverfood and go to the casinos to gamble. picked up the duty free sales girl at the crossing and she was the best looking and spoke english.
back in nongkhai, it is well known for a phenomenon sometime in oct i think when balls of fire mysteriosly sprout from the river mekong. even the royal family are there to witness this. i managed to spot a few but am still puzzeled by this fire breathing dragon as the locals call it. the whole area takes on a gala atmosphere with stretches of road 30km jammed with people and food and drink vendors pack the whole area. must see to believe.
contrary to popular belief i think if you have the connections, countryside town can be more fun than the big cities. i had some very young beauties there and in issan. burirum in issan is a small town with big opportuinities for good fun. if the chief turns a blind eye to the activities or induldges himself the opportunities are always there!

tks for advice. I've been to Nongkhai but stayed in my wife hse. As for Udon Thani only had lunch there and shop at Lotus.. I see like nothing much there leh

I had been there during Dec time, its quite cooling during that period. I took a flight from SG-BKK, then board an air-con bus to Udon Thani. Spend few days in Udon Thani then went up to Nong Khai.

Nong Khai - Quite a small town. For attraction, there are few Wat and statue around. Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge, 20km long, first bridge build across Khong river that link Nong Khai with Lao. Foreigners are required to have passport and visa if they wish to visit Vientiane Mun in Lao. However I didn't have chance to cross over. Lotus shopping mall in the town. I stay in Huan-Lai apartment for 350baht per night. Its room are clean, spacious, queen size bed, air-con, hot shower, cable TV. Rent a motorbike for 300baht a day. Just a few pubs around, didn't find any entertainment joint. For ST and LT, most gals are from the Lao. They are generally young and only pleasant looking. Price range is 300-500baht for ST, 1500baht for over night service.

Udon Thani - A bigger city than Nong Khai. For attraction, Wat, statue, National Park, golf, spa, waterfall,etc. Something special is the Ban Chiang National Museum, one of the most important archaeological sites that uncovered in southeast Asia. Declared as world heritage site by UNESCO. Charoensri shopping complex, Big C and night market for some shopping spree. There have quite number of night entertainment like disco and pubs around. Some of the pubs owner are foreigners. I stay in Top Mansion apartment for 290 per night. Its room are clean, spacious, queen size bed, air-con, hot shower, cable TV. Rent a motorbike for 300baht a day also. There are 7 body massage parlours which I had seen, anymore I'm afraid I don't know. Price range from 800-1800baht. For ST and LT from KTV place, gals are from Thai and Lao also. Price range is 300-500baht for ST, 1500-2000baht for over night service.

I think in order to explore these provinces, one must be able to communicate in Thai will have advantage. Cheers

As for present, the lady houses are mostly closed maybe due to the military coup and the personel reshuffles. Usually when the new bosses come the managements have to work out new profit sharing schemes, and when everyone gets benifits, they will be in full bloom again. I passed through Udon and Nong khai and found the brothels mostly closed tight. But the papasans standing on the sois said open soon.

When the ladyhouses shut, use the tuk tuk, they will still bring tons of girls for private screening in your hotel rooms. Also try High Tech disco and Manbo, lots of freelancers would go for a job.

udon ST on compound (fuck houses) is B500. LT is B1000. been there done that...most guesthouses are girl friendly.

Khon Kaen is the region's educational centre, has one of Thailand's best universities. The town has large population of Uni-student so make it quite a lively place

Sorry I have very limited experience at this province because I only stay a night there. As one friend had told me that it has lots of pretty Uni-gals around, maybe some bros wanna try woo some?
I seen some disco and pubs, a body massage parlour too. I took ST from a brothel house for 500baht. The gal look quite pretty, fair, slim, young and she from Udon Thani...
