On the contrary.... my contacts tell me the police are reluctant to raid cheong places now with the pending investigations into the Bukit Aman syndicate for fear of being linked to them. They will only conduct a raid on any cheong premises as a last resort when no other choice is available. So now they channel their resources to assist the immigration boys.
