Safety tips on travelling to Medan

Hi guys, I'll be travelling to Medan at the end of this mth. Any safety tips as to avoid all the hassle from the immigrasi bapaks ? Wat should I do / dun do when travelling there ? When departure from Polonia airport, must I pay fiskal besides airport tax ? Sorry for so many questions...it'll be my first time there.

Thks for the tips uncle BM. Another question, I registered my marriage in Singapore and I got my marriage cert certified by Indonesia Embassy in Singapore. Is my marriage cert recognized by the Indonesia goverment ? I ask this question is becoz I'll be travelling with my wife and daughter. Kum sia...

First thing first, DON'T uncle me ok?!?!!
Of cos your married cert is recognized by the Indonesia goverment cos it's been certified by the them via the Indonesia Embassy in Singapore.
But go Medan and bring wife along is like bring sand to a beach you know?!!

To meet my in-laws...married for so long and yet to meet them. My wife is making alot of noise liaoz. So bo bianz...
btw bro, u familar with Medan ? Like wher to shop / makan etc ?

I'm not familar with Medan at all cos everytime when I was there, my contacts there will drive me to everywhere i needed to go, meetings, makan, partying ect ect......
BTW meeting of in laws is not my cup of tea thanks, you have a nice trip...
