Is Grand Sukhumvit Hotel friendly?

Hello all, I will be visiting Bangkok in a couple of weeks and am staying at the Hotel Grand Sukhumvit by Sofitel. Its located in Sukhumvit, near Soi 6. Can someone please tell me if this hotel is "friendly" and am I able to bring a lady back to the room? Also, any good places nearby where I can go for fun and pick-up "friends"?

Yes you can bring back a lady, but you are likely to get hit with a 1000 Baht joiner as its not guest friendly. Why did you choose this hotel?

Why you need to spend so much on hotel room to bonk a girl? Try Zenith Sukhumvit, Majestic Suite or even Landmark Hotel if you want some luxury to impress the girls. Or even super budget like Nana hotel or Manhattan hotel. All within walking distance to Nana Plaza. Not worth paying 500-1000baht for joiner's fees lah. Better save that money for other things or even give it to your 'friends' the next morning. Believe me, she will be more impress if you gave her that money that make her sleep in your 'luxury hotel'. Just my humble suggestion. Btw you can ask Tim to help you with your hotel. He's very reliable from what i've read in this or other forum.

Agree with some of your points. However Zenith Sukhumvit is not guest friendly as well. One of the strictest hotels in Bangkok. Shame though, considering the location.

Thanks Bro for the advise. I got the hotel free so thought stay there. I have booked for two so maybe no joiner fees...lets see.
