I think it is hard though. His main strength is physicality. Powerful speedy runs that stretch defences. Our opponents park the bus and players are packed like sardines the penalty box. Not that many chances to play to his strength. Not his fault

The space he has for his second goal only comes after Brentford opened up after conceding the first goal. Chielsa pass to Elliot who created a goal for Nunez. 3 players who are not having a good time this season.

Really pleased for Darwin Núñez. Hopefully, this is a massive boost for his confidence.

That was a huge win. We needed a spark to break us out of this mini slump and hopefully we may have got it last night.

Shout out to Elliot. He came on and created more key passes than most players on the pitch before. Elliot is an intelligent player and is suited for the 10.

Konate was everywhere and Trent was really very good.

Hopefully Chiesa gets more game time from now on. He deserves more than five minutes.

Think Arne needs to start trusting his squad more. Elliot, Jones, Nunez, Chiesa & Endo if used properly can propel us to the title

Job done. Won the league stage with a game to spare. We get 2 rest days in Feb as a result. The additional 2 rest days are useful if we qualify for Caraboa Cup final.

Liverpool didn't go all out to win the game but still won. Too many attempt on goals but didn't score.

Think we need 5 to 8 chances to score one goal.

Diaz has been off form. Probably too tired from the matches so far. Salah is doing what Salah does after posting his Christmas family photo. Goal drought in 2025 even though he scored today. Salah didn't pass the ball enough in this match.

I kept watching Nunez this morning. This is the type of match he thrives in. Our CL opponents tend not to use the British tactic of parking the bus (low block where players crowd in the penalty box). Poor fella is hungry and ready to burst to connect to through balls but the passes seldom go to him. No pass how to score? He defends from the front very well.

Chiesa runs in an awkward manner. Not sure if this has always been his style. He runs like an overweight uncle.

The legs move first then half a second later the heavy upper body starts to move. But when he shoots, the ball tends to be on target. He has at least 2 shots on goal. He can give Diaz the much needed rest if he keep improving on his match fitness.

Barcelona played a crazy game this morning. If not for the unexpected 5-4 victory, we would have secured top spot this morning.

Curtis Jones damn sway, the opponent landed on his outstretched leg and then didn't move away. Lay on the outstretched leg to protest to referee some more and Curtis Jones tweaked his hamstring as a result. Elliot had a good game as his replacement
