i totally agree..onli have myself to blame for being stoopid..COD is the only way to go..else once money is in the gal's hands, we the customer loses all the initiative...it becomes their call whether or not to fulfill their part of the deal..which they probably would not..so all bros out there..COD ONLY

Sandy did not ask me for an upfront payment when I first met her. But like some others, I have also given her something in anticipation of future meetings( which I have not recovered from her either in cash or in kind). There were a few tentative arrangements made for meetings but these were unfortunately (at least for me!) never concluded and hence I have given up on her.

When I made the decision to let her have money upfront, I was conscious of the "risks" that this could well be money down the drain. At that time, my assessment was that her need was indeed real... I tell myself that if I was wrong about her then it was just too bad for me being kehpoh. I may feel real shitty about it but over time I will still get by. But if the need was real - the at least I would have to some extent , helped alleviate her problem.

As to how she responded subsequently, I just put that to her personal failure to act responsibly. She says she is holding mutiple jobs to try to pay off debts she owed on her recent spate of bad luck. I may have been conned but whatever it is, I have decided to give her the benefit of doubt.

I am not in any way condoning what she has or has not done to those who have acted to help her but as there were some who suggested that fake reports were put out as part of the "scam", I thought that I should clarify that for me, at least, it was not certainly real.

Will not say anymore--do not want to invite any @#%^&* from unhappy bros here!
