Hello all bros

I know many many many stories abt PRC FLs cheating SG men money, how they want SG citizenship... but I also know of a few happy endings.. (just that the bad ones are much much more then the good ones)

What I thought will not happen to me, happend (KC)...

recently got to know a PRC FL, who had since left our shores, but we kept in contact, and things started to happen from there... I even went to china to meet her for holiday.... anyway to cut the story short,

1) she wants to get out of the trade (who doesn't right?)
2) her family is above average, but she left home already so does not take money from her family. (thus in this trade)
3) Father suggested to her opening a timber factory together, raw materials taken from her uncle (who owns the tree farm)
4) Total cost is around 300,000 yuan. Her father asked her to cough out 100,000.
5) she is about 50,000 yuan short, thus she asked me. I told her I can't just give her 50,000 yuan just like tt...
6) she told me to think of it as an investment.. etc (she SAID, once everything is up, can get 10% return per annum which is only about 5000 per year, which is 400 yuan per month ~ SGD$80)

credits to her, she did not attempt to KC me at all... all the sweet talk, holding hands etc, all dun haf... let alone doing her raw. (even if she is willing I also wun)... I also don't know how the KC started... I don't expect her to marry me in future, I know it will lead to nowhere as she doesn't want to stay in SG, I wun give up my job to go China and settle down..... but I just want to help her get out of this trade.

Need bro's advice and opinion on how to verify if all these are true, and that she will really take my money to set up the factory with her father.

She did not even attempt anything for you... means there is very little love from her in the relationship... If you dont expect her to marry you, then why the need to be a hero for her and cough out the $10k.. ?

Are you sure you want to help her out of this trade ? What are your motives then ? From your story, there seems little future between the 2 of you....

Bro, from bottom of my heart, want to give you unbiased opinions.

Seriously, 50k rmb is not really a big amount. It is around 10k sgd only. My advice is split that money into two and invest in 6% dividend reits on sgx. Risk versus return is balanced.

Your investment background story from (3) to (6) is really complete piece of shit. Even giving benefit of doubt to your lady, it is still seriously a wholesome piece of shit. 10% return is just too little for this amount of risk you are taking.

If you are going to offer the loan to her in the end, let me give some advice since I happen to be working in this line.

1 Ask her family to collate the money in Singapore's BOC, the entire sum of RMB 300,000.

2 Register the company, Codicerous Pte Ltd under ARCA, and name her as the company secretary.

3 Get a revolving credit line from BOC for the company capex.

Basically what you are doing is moving forward future revenues to pay current expenses.

Her family is unlikely to go through so much effort to cheat you of RMB 50,000.

If you remain convinced by the business idea and remain short of funds, you can send me the plan as my company invests in about 10 companies yearly.

I think bank in china can give them he loan if they have a proper business plan and the amount is not a lot. She don't even mention to bring you n as a business partner. It's an amount that is not a lot and would tend not to cause alarm bells ringing.
They target many in order to reap large returns.
