Any good recommendation for cheap staying and near fun places. :P

But still a bit nervous ... first timer to BKK actually ..

with regards to bangkok especially, i thnk more den enough info is available online and in SB. do ur homework .. unless you're going places like some funny funny village or province den maybe a thread might help, but right now you're talkinga bout bangkok where prolly there's like 1000 such replies splashed all over the place.
do a search and dont be lazy bro.

anybody know bout this place, Watana Mansion Service Apartment ?? any comment ??

the price is cheap n the location is strategic. tempting ...

Hi,

I will be staying a night there this coming Tuesday. I do not expect the hotel ambience as good as Palazzo @HuayKwang . But interm of pricing & location ,IMO it's really ideal. The Hotel is located near Suthisan Subway & one stop will lead you to HuayKwan Station. The hotel also allows request late check-out before 2pm. Furthermore, Poseidon is nearby Watana Mansion. Will try to update the thread once I am over there. Cheers.

Besides the location and afforable price, many samsters stayed there as there is a 24 minimart, swimming pool, cheap laundry, new computer 30 mins free access & a good kitchen that provides nice & cheap food. Many pretty gals also stayed in that apartment...

If u can afford another abt 30SGD, I will strongly encourage u to stay in Palazzo.

Palazzo is a good hotel while watana is acceptable service apartment which is old. Both value for $$ IMO

can anybody roughly give me some daily expenses on food ?? normal food will do, no fancy restaurant pls.

heard that exchange rate is better off in BKK than sing, is it true ?? or just a little bit better ??

Dear Bro,

Breakfast cost THB 40, lunch wanton mee + coke THB 40, dinner fried pork with garlic + 1 vege + drink Thb 60. Not exceeding THB 180 per day
